Tutorial publication in CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology

We are excited to share that our tutorial titled "Tackling High Dimensionality in QSP: Guiding Model Order Reduction With Index Analysis" by Tillil et al. in collaboration with our former Research+ student Jane Knöchel has been published in CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology.

In our tutorial, we introduce for the first time a structured workflow to select and apply appropriate model order reduction techniques. Furthermore, we show how our previously published index analysis technique can verify whether important mechanistic features of the original model were retained during model order reduction. Our presented workflow facilitates the application of complex quantitative systems pharmacology models to population-level data analysis from a mechanistic foundation and builds confidence in the mechanisms represented in the reduced models.
