Training Curriculum
A key component of the PharMetrX program is its specifically tailored training program of dedicated modules that convey the foundations in the field. The Academic Modules are offered in form of one week block courses, introducing important theoretical concepts, techniques & knowledge as well as conveying hands-on training and software expertise. The Industry Modules comprise a one week course on the drug discovery & development process as well as an individual internship module.
The modules will take place on site unless there is an unforeseen worsening of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Academic Modules
The Academic Modules are offered by the program chairs, Charlotte Kloft and Wilhelm Huisinga. Every year, the following modules are taught:
- A1: Introduction to pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
- A2: Introduction to physiologically-based pharmacokinetics
- A3: Introduction to population analysis
- A4: Introduction to systems biology.
Every other year, we additionally offer the module
Industry Modules
The Industry Modules are offered by the Industry Partners at their sites. Every other year, two industry partners jointly offer the module
