Software
The PhD students will be familiairzed wtih different software programs and tools during the hands-on exercise of the teaching modules:
- Berkeley Madonna, Macey&Oster (A1 PK/PD)
- MATLAB, The Mathworks (A2 PBPK and A4 Systems Biology)
- Monolix, Lixoft (A3 Population analysis)
- NONMEM, ICON (A3 Population analysis)
- Phoenix WinNonlin, Pharsight (A1 PK/PD)
- Pirana (A3 Population analysis)
- PK-Sim, Bayer Technology Services (A2 PBPK)
- PsN (A3 Population analysis)
- R (A3 Population analysis and A5 Stats&Data analysis)
Some of the software codes used in the teaching modules are publically available:
- Generic PBPK model for small molecule drugs (in Matlab), available as online supplement to Huisinga et al., Modeling inter-individual variability in physiologically-based pharmacokinetics and its link to mechanistic covariate modeling; CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology, 1 (2012), e4 (Online supplement: parameter values and Matlab files)
